I've been riding my Ural Tourist for about 6 years and last year I decided it was time for a new, bigger rig. So I parted out my 1997 Harley Heritage Springer for the needed funds. I kept the engine, transmission and most of the small parts.
I started the build with a assigned number 1961 Harley title I had laying around. I went to the DMV office, transferred the title to my name and bought an antique vehicle licence plate. Next I bought a Paughco shovelhead type frame, set up to accept an EVO engine and small parts. I added an Ultima inverted 58mm front end with a 5degree rake. Then I found 4 (1 for the spare) 80 spoke 16" wire wheels. I put wide whitewall tires on all four wheels.
I'm using a Ural car with a modified frame. I added a swingarm to the sidecar frame using a 883 Sportster swingarm and brake. The sidecar fender is a modified Harley rigid frame fender that I connected to the swingarm. The shock is from a Shovelhead. I welded all the needed mounts to the frame and also some reinforcements. There's disc brakes on all three wheels, she should stop on a dime! The bike got 5 gallon fatbob tanks with a Cateye dash and 1961 Harley emblems, Shovelhead rear fender and a modified vintage Harley Springer front fender. I also added a hand shifter and I built a foot clutch. The handle bars are 14" apehangers with internal throttle and the seat is a Harley Solo. I'm also running Harley Heritage Leather Saddlebags. All the fab work is done and the rig is sitting on it's wheels. It's just a matter of hooking up the brakes, building the wiring harness and paint till she's on the road. I'll be touring with Morticia this spring.

Patrik You seem to have a lot of private time and nobody pushing you. Congratulation for the first and congratulation for the nice piece of artwork you set up there.
I like the wheels very much, that looks neat and promises to become a beautiful rig.
