does anyone know what make or kind or make of rims i can use with this hack, i have 2 nice aluminum rims that came with the car but i want spoke ones to match bike..
I have to assume you are running just the Ural sidecar and not a Ural bike. The Ural axle is a 20mm axle so most front wheels set up for either a 20 mm axle or some with a 15mm axle can work. Most wheels set up for a 15mm axle you can change the wheel bearings out to ones that are the same width and O.D. but different I.D.
If you have the Ural drum brake then you will need to run a Ural wheel for it to work. If you want to add a disk brake to the sidecar go with a wheel with the smallest disk you can find. Ural wheels have to much play in the bearings for the disk brake to work well. Also Ural sidecars need a spacer to space the wheel out as with out the brake backing plate as the axle is not machined under the brake backing plate.
