Upon Wing dealer recommendation, installed Progressive 416GLA set on my '95 SE/CSC FSIII rig, due to age/condition of OEMs. Were very disappointing [used for 2 riding seasons]. Called Progressive. Was told by their tech: 412-4223C are THE recommended model for '95 SE/CSC FSIII rig and also offer choice of regular or heavy duty external coil springs. Was hoping others with same rig, may share their experience with these and which springs [reguler or h.d.] worked best for them. Thanks in advance. TTFN......papasmurf
P.S: Wife always rides 2-up with me. She cannot ride in hack due to arthritis in knees.

Hi Papasmurf, I have the same problem that you have, hope someone can give us some good information on the shocks. If you decide to try the Progressive 412-4223C shocks, let us know how they work, are these the spring, no air pressure shocks?

They're sealed, nitrogen-filled w/outside, regular or h.d. coil, NON-air units. Ordering 'em in mid-July, when funds available. TTFN.....papasmurf in NH

Got my new Progresive 412-4223C heavy duty rear shocks yesterday. Will get them on soon and post how they perform. In the process of rebuilding all 3 brake calipers first. TTFN.....papasmurf
