moving the beasts

I have a 99 Yamaha RSV with an 02 California sidecar. No brake on the sidecar
I just bought a 06 HD ultra with a factory sidecar. The sidecar has a brake.
Neither have reverse gear. Never missed it with the Yamaha.

Hoping someone can help me solve this problem..........

The RSV is a breeze to push around in neutral. It rolls easily while I'm sitting on it. A few steps and I have it backed out of the garage with little effort.

The HD is a pain! Very hard to get moving and doesn't roll easily. Sort of like pushing an empty grocery cart vs. trying to push a cart of bricks.

Am I missing something? Is this just the way the HD is?
