I am in the process of making a adjustable sidecar mounting kit for a Vulcan 1500 and possibly can be use for other type of bikes with minimum mods or adjustment. Can anyone advise me on the type of steel used to mount heavy sc such as ural? I am trying to minimise the stress caused to the bike frame.
