I just got through putting the Unit leading link fork on the '99 EV hack...
I had to modify the axle as the fork is made to be used with an '02 and later V11 so the threaded end needed to be extended just about 5/16"...
Next issue was the brake calipers... The '99 version did not fit the pre-fabbed and located lugs for the again, '02 and up calipers.. quick call to FW yielded a couple of four pot Goldlines from an '02 LeMans..
The Goodridge brake lines and fittings needed to be routed and I need to purchase one more for the left rotor. (Notice the caliper resting on the front pipe... ) I may run a stainless braided line all the way from the proportioning valve, depending on whether the hard line and the Goodridge are able to be coupled.
The car rig rolls around much easier now for some reason.. All this fork does really is kick the trail out a bit but it just feels better... 🙂
I'll get a road test in after the second brake line is on AND the rain stops...

Actually the LL reduces the trail for easier steering.
Also eliminates nose dive when braking.
Yeah, I was just going to mention the same thing as, Hack...LL's REDUCE the Trail , not 'kick it out'.

Yeah, I misspoke there... However, does the fork not move the angle of the entire assembly forward (at teh axle) to change total trail...? I am new to most of this so hang in with me...
