Hi, just got my first sidecar! Its a kozi rocket. We tried to install it to my 76 Honda CB550 and I am pretty sure we did not do it right. It rides fine, but I didn't use alot of the parts that came in the universal mounting kit. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. I'll attach some pics to help illustrate. Thanks in advance.

1) unused parts from UMK.jpg - these came with the Universal Mounting
Kit and assume we needed to use them. I see that the regular bolts on
the bottom of the pic should be used to connect the parts in the top
of this picture (im going to call them Eye Bolts from here on) to the
struts. The problem was that the C-clamps (pic also attached) and the
threaded hole at the back of the sidecar frame were not large enough
to fit these eyebolts that were included. Instead we used the the
eybolts that were already attached to the sidecar (for mounting to a
royal enfield) to attach to the struts.

2) Comaparison.jpg - shows that the eyebolts from the UMK are bigger
than those that came with the sidecar. You can see that we had to use
washers as shims inside the connection because the flat part of the
eyebolt was much smaller than the space at the fork side of the strut.

3)Arrangement from top.jpg - you can see how we arranged the 4 struts.
Not sure if this is correct.

4)Arrangement from back.jpg - shows a different angle in case that helps

5) placement of brackets on sidecar - you can see that we had to move
the c-clamps to strange places (note the one all the way up front on
the part of the sidecar frame that is bent at an upward angle. This
was to follow the recommendation from the instructions that the 2 long
struts should not be parallel.
