i changed front tire with larger diameter
my original front tire size was 120/70-17. i put a new 130/70-17 tire. i did this thinking that it now has a larger patch of rubber. and is now more stable than the 120s. now it wants to pull to the right.. i lowered the forks at triple tree. difference from old tire and new height is 1/2 inch taller. i lowered the forks 7/8 inches to compensate for height. pulls very lightly running 70mph. i dont want to readjust the whole rig thinking that the change altered the lean out.. would it be advisable to lowering the forks 1/2 more to adjust for lean out? would it put undo stress on the mounts because im lowering the forks only. im thinking the sidecar shocks are taking care of the change.. thanks..... kawasaki 1200 zrx/562e velorex with upgrade axle and trailer tire.....
If lowering the front by raising the fork tubes in the triple trees be sure there is no interference with the frame, radiator, or any other appertenance when the front is bottomed out.
Tubular front ends have a distinct bottom limit but sometimes in a panic stop the front fender may hit another part and you will be unable to steer the bike in this case.
Been there, done that with a springer FE.

lonnie, do you think it would have added stress on the mounts because i am only lowering the front??? thanks
Stress wise, suspension changes do not affect things that are attached to the frame of the bike. It will only change the attitude of the sidecar.
