Hello everyone,

Just joined this forum and glad to be here. Been reading a bit for the past couple days. I have a Yamaha Roadstar with Motorvation Spyder sidecar. I bought the unit a while back and quickly bought and installed a EZ-steer triple tree which helped greatly in the handling.

I have always thought my sidecar was not exactly as it should be, so I talked to Gary at Motorvation yesterday. Through my discussion with him, I ordered a new strut arm as I have one to long. Currently the side car is to low in front, to far out, and to far forward. I plan to try and remedy that.

I was curious if any others have the Spyder sidecar and if possible you could send or post pictures of your mounting setups.

Be careful out there.

Thanks

The mounting pieces are really done well and almost infinately adjustable. The one thing you do not want to do is push (hammer) in the main mounting Male tube into the female tube until it hits bottom. It will gound and stick and you will have a hell of a time pulling it out. The is no way to really get a hold of it. If you want the sidecar to be closer to the bike than the main tubes will allow, I cut off a few inches so the tubes will slide together without bottoming.
