I'm picking up a Harley LE sidecar next month. Will this fit in my Ram pickup? Any advice? The boat and fender aren't currently mounted to the frame and the seller offered to remove the wheel if that would help. Thanks

I use full size chevy van to pick up frendship III which is 1 1/2 times wider. Your dodge will be ok. Use mitsubishi pick up for verorex. No problem.

Does your truck have a full size bed? If not you may want to be sure that you bring plenty of straps to hold down the frame and body, as the tail gate may have to be left down. Maybe bring some 3/8 bolts and nuts to secure the body to the frame once it is in the truck bed and remove them when you get home for easier unloading.

I figure the fender, maybe the wheel and any "loose" mount parts could go in the truck cab or some of it in the sidecar body.

Thanks for the info and tips. I have a crew cab with a short box and kind of figured on it hanging out the back. I guess my main concern is if the front cross brace will stick out over the side enough to cause problems. I'll be sure to take some bolts and my tiedown collection.

Pap, Are you referring to the mounting arm from the S/C frame that goes up in front of the fuel tanks on your bike? if so that should be removable.

Yep, that's the piece. It looks like it should be removable but I've never seen one off. Thanks for that information.

Pap, Should be 4 bolts holding 2 caps in place that's for adjusting the lean on the bike to the sidecar.
