As per my signature, I have a wide, heavy-ish s/c mounted to a heavy-ish cruiser m/c. I have eaten my way into the super-lightweight class, but could still make lightweight class after a couple of laxitives and a good sweat. Even un-ballasted, the peg hits long before the balance point is reached. With my wife, son, tools, and assorted 'stuff' in the car, figure it adds another 225#.

On a flat, dry, road, I've found that when I go into turns fairly hot, I can feel the front tire loosing traction. I do have a Heidenau K-28 that I'm waiting for Customs to inspect and will be putting on.

Any other ideas to keep the rig turning when it wants to go straight (besides slowing down)?

try gust dragging front break while rolling on the throttle, shifts the weight to front wheel. it's in the book.

I had associated (and practiced) the front brake/throttle combo to get the rear end to drift, didn't think about it transferring weight onto the front wheel (which it should).

Thanks! Conditions permitting, I'll give that a shot this week.

🙂 Remember, that is just for turns toward the car.
