Hello All,
I am new to the forum. I was considering buying a old BMW rig w/ TR500 Steib. The only problem is it is mounted on the left side. What would it cost to switch to the right? Can it be done?

Few sidecars are easily switched from left to right. I don't think this is one of them.
There have been some that have a frame that can be inverted or reversed and use a solid axle without a swingarm suspension system. An ambiguous fender would also be a plus for this. Some impediment can also be expected from a right side kick starter.
Left side hacks work OK here as long as you don't put your monkey out in the oncoming traffic while looking for passing room.
