That's because you are starting a whole new thread for each photo. You can [SHOULD] attach all the photos to the original post. Flood control will not kick in if you do it that way and your pictures will be easier to find.

Flood control is one of the settings that helps keep robots from flooding the site with off topic posts. If the site is keeping you from doing something, there is a pretty good chance that what you are doing wrong.

I know you really do need flood control. I was just getting a little frustrated. My mistake, I thought you had to open a new thread in order to attach a photo. I tried attaching one to a "reply" and it didn't work. Then I tried to ad more than one picture and it was kicked out. Must have done something else wrong. Sometimes I try to do thing just too fast and this kind of thing happens. I've got to learn to "slow down and enjoy the ride."

Don't worry, I'm the admin and I don't know all there is to know about the system. Most folks will never run into flood control so it's good to have it come up as a question from time to time.

When you want to attach a photo, you click the box that says "Attach a file after posting". You already know that but what you may have missed is that after you attache the first photo [or file] the box that says "Choose a file" is still there and you can use it again [and again, and again] to attach more photos. Like many things on this old BBS, it isn't immediately obvious but it does work.

I shall remember this.
