First The Mount Modification, Next The Mounts?

I finally got my 220v/AC outlet wired up for my Millermatic wire feed welder and tomorrow promises to be a great day to work outside and finsh the sidecar frame mount modification, I've been trying to do for about a year now. Health, disabilities, and fickled weather has kept me from doing any substantial work thus far.

With the modification well on the road to getting done, the next step is to attach all the mounting brackets to my 81 Goldwing 1100 I's frame. Although the instructions that came with the mounting hardware kit give general directions and positions, it is lacking in how tight or how much torgue should the nuts and bolts be. I don't want to crack or collasps the tubular frame of the Cycle by overtightening any nut or bolt.

Any recommendations and or information would be most helpful.

Avoid red loctite.
