For $125 you can get one from Champion, I doubt you could make one for that.

Just bought a used Escort I learned about here on this forum. Looking at all the snaps and zippers, your best bet is Champion, and believe be I have ordered enough from them in the last two weeks........lol.......good luck with the rig.

I'd go with the majority, Champion built it, and they are most likely to get the fit proper. Mine fits perfect with no gaps, the snaps go right where they are supposed to. The quality is good, it snaps closed both cold and hot.
I had a pickup cover for my old truck, and if it was cold, you about had to get 2 grown men tugging on it to get it snapped.

I have the top from Champion and like others said it fits very well. What I also had made locally was a tonneau cover that uses the same snaps around the seat as the convertible top and then snaps onto the dash. I like the conneau cover for when we are not using the top but when leaving the bike anything left in the sidecar can be out of site. It also keeps the sun off the seat while away without having to put the top up. And lastly, on a cold day when my wife doesn't want the top up the tonneau cover makes a nice lap covering to help keep the cold off her and our little dog.
