Car tires on rigs

This newbie is back with another question. My Valk/Spyder is presently running with Avon motorcycle tires. In the VRCC family (Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club), many members are presently running their Valks with car tires on the back wheel, 205/60/r16's, and having no problems.
My question. I have a car tire ready to go on the back of my Valk. I would think that, since the car tire has a flat tread vs a rounded tread of a mc tire, that the leanout would be be of no use since the whole idea of leanout is to fool the bike into thinking that it's turning slightly left so that it counters the force pulling the rig to the right on crowned roads. The car tire doesn't reduce its effective diameter as its tilted because it runs flat on the road. Did I get my point across?
One more. Is there any member in the USA that could come to my place in NE Indiana and check out my rig. It would be helpful to me. Thanks.

I've been running a car tire on the rear of the Valkyrie since before a put on the sidecar. I find the lean out is still necessary, just as much as with an MC tire. I wish I was closer to you, but I'm in Northern Wisconsin. A little to far to ride down there in November.

Thanks Mike. You've answered my question. I'm going to run this Avon a little longer and then change over to a Goodyear Triple Tread.
I have sent emails twice to a rep here in Indiana. While the emails have been answered, no calls, no help, so far. "Nuff said. My friend in Roswell New Mexico, Ron, has been a big help too, but he also is too far. Thanks again Mike.
