Never drove a rig before and just bought a sidecar and another bike to put it on..
Will a car tire on the front of the bike help with handling of the rig???? I have a car tire on the rear of my solo bike (Zuki 1500 Intruder)and it's great...Thanks Steve

A car tire on the front may/may not help handling depending on many factors. A car tire, especially on the rear of the bike will contribute to a marked increase in tire life.

My rig has a lot of lead on the sidecar wheel. 15 inches. This causes the front tire to loose traction before the rear tire in left hand turns. I mounted a square profile Avon sidecar tire on the front. The larger contact patch reduced the tendency to "wash out" significantly. A car tire will also have a larger contact patch and thus more traction.

Bigger contact patch is what I was thinking too...since my sidecar is wide and heavy might be the way to go....I might give it a try then Thanks Steve
