car rear tire?

Can I? Should I? and if so, wear is a best place to get one? Thanx...Jason

My bike runs a 130/90-16

If you can find one that will clear your swingarm, drivetrain and fender.
Coker, Universal Tire and others have vintage 16" tires that may fit.
The different profiles may throw the speedo off some.

I will be watching this thread closely. I have the same size rear tire on mine. I have not yet found a car tire that is narrow enough to clear the drive shaft. Yes I looked at Coker tire, but didn't call and talk to a real person. I'm anxious to hear what you find.
My speedometer runs off my front wheel.

I think mine runs off the front also. I am going to keep up the search. I talked to a guy today at a tire store that said he could get me one. I will let you know how it goes.

Make sure you know how much room you have from the edge of the rim to the swing arm, also you need to take a look at getting it in after it's mounted, things can get tight real quick. Good Luck.
