Battery Isolator Help
I have a battery in my sidecar and want to put this isolator in line but have NO idea on how to go about, any help will be appreciated, here's the isolator info page:

Shadow, the times I have used an isolator from Surepower was on trucks. I think that the bikes power wire (pos) removed from the the battery would go to isolator then the Surepower splits the charging line one to each battery. There are some Surepower models for GM's that also have a switch wire to energize the isolater. Don't use that model. Ford types don't use this energize wire. My only concern is that a bikes alternator is such lower output than a 70 to 130 amp car system. I would check with Surepower to see if their isolators will work with a 400- 600 watt system. I have seen a switching relay that is load sensitive. The name excapes my at the moment. I too am interested in a second battery for the sidecar.
We run just the car battery.
Thanks guys for the info, I installed the battery in the sidecar and wanted to isolate it because of the electric chair lift I installed for the wife and didn't want to drain the main (bike) battery, I'll just use a relay I guess, I have the Sure isolater and thought I could use it,,,O well. Thanks again guys.
