i am currently running 91 wing 1500 champion escort side car,the wing has linked brakes, rear break pedal works one half the front and the rear, front brake lever works only half the front. the side car has a disc break thart works off the front master cylinder, would it be possible to make the front lever work the front breaks (both sides) and the rear master cylinder work the rear and side car?????? i know it will work parts wise but will it work effectivly? any input would be helpful. marc pondick rainbow city alabama sbcw114@aol.com

I know you would need to change the master cylinder. I had a GL1500 and plumbed it to operate both front brakes with the right hand lever and it did not work. After doing some research I thought I needed a smaller piston diameter in the master cylinder but I think I had it backward. I noticed in the Harely Davison catalog the piston is bigger for a dual disk application compared to a single disk.

I agree with Vlad why I have a CSC FRIENDSHIP 111 on a 95 1500 and the breaks work fine but you have to use the front and back brakes together
