I'm thinking about putting flat profile tires on the front and sidecare wheels. They currently run 110/80R19's. I see that Avon and Duro have 3.50L19's, will the Avons or Duros fit and is switching to flat profile tires a good idea? Is going from tubless to tube-type a problem? Can I expect an improvement in handling? Any other suggestions? I'm also new to the forum and this sidecar stuff, pretty exciting though.

A lot of the online tire vendors have conversion charts, check that out. Flat profile might work better for you with a hack, but if still plan on riding solo part of the time, might not be such a good idea. Others with more exsperience will prob. jump in with better answers.

I don't plan on riding solo on that bike. The hack is on a V-Strom 650; I also have a Yamaha FJR1300 for solo.
