Hi,
I just changed my trans lube and put in 24oz. Warmed the motor up and checked the lube level. I was about 1/8" over the full mark. So I put in syringe and removed about 2 oz. It still reads about 1/8" over the F mark (still on the flat part of the dipstick ) not up high enough to be on the rounded part.

With the TLE on the RK will the dipstick read slightly higher like the oil level for the motor?

I really do not want to pull any more lube out unless its necessary.

TIA,
John

With sidecar equipped Harleys (and most other sidecar equipped bikes),put the recommended amount of oil in your transmission (and motor). After running both and letting the oil settle pull the dipsticks out and notch them at the existing oil level. The factory markings on the dipsticks are intended for measuring the oil levels on a solo bike that is resting on the sidestand when the readings are made.
