I still think the wraptie method is neat, easy and you don't have to look for parts later or damage the cheap chrome finish on the fasteners.

I agree with that. I don't even need to tie mine up. It stays in place out of the way if I remive the sidecar to work on th ebike, it's there when I need it.

By the way, he says 4 minutes to remove a sidestand on a late-model HD? I rather doubt that. More like a half hour of bending and stooping to get it off, two days to remember where you put the sidestand and related parts and an hour to put it back on after you've recovered from looking for it. LOL.
