I am trying to find a hydraulic steering damper for my sidecar.all it says on it is,brazil #17005E13192.i have looked everywhere.desperate.
Have you tried a Harley Dealer to get their part number?

If you have that steering damper just take it to your local NAPA Auto Parts and they can cross reference the part number. NAPA is everywhere and they provide good service.
That shock is from an old VW beetle or super beetle, can't remember which.
