Hello folks, I live just south of Spartanburg, SC and am looking for other riders in the Carolinas for Meet and Greets or just riding.
I ride quite a bit on the BRP and around the Chimney rock/Lake Lure area. Heck, anywhere in the Western Carolinas suit me for riding.
Hi Bagmaster, I just got back from riding the BRP from the North to the South end. I had ridden all of it at different times but never from one end to the other. Also rode in the Asheville Pediatric brain tumor foundation ride for kids this past Sunday from Asheville to Lake Lure. Like you I enjoy riding all over Western North and South Carolina.
You must be up near Shelby.
We're having a benefit ride this Sunday around Lake Lure for a PGR member that just got out of the hospital and is about to lose his house due to being out of a job for the last 2 years and finally using up everything he had in the bank.
Since I'm not picking up my sidecar till Friday I won't have the time to hook it up and get it dialed in before the ride. This is my first sidecar and I'll need a lot of practice before I try any riding long distance with it.
