I was trying to make it to the class in June, but family health problems prevented me from doing so. I'm now working on riding up there for the 8/24-26 basic and advanced classes.
I'm planning on leaving Simi Valley around 5 am on 8/22 and stopping in Medford, Or that night. Then riding from there on into Hood River on 8/23 giving plenty of time to relax and cruise around to see the sights.
I would plan on leaving Hood River on Monday 8/27 and stopping around Redding for that night, then heading on home on Tuesday.
With my fathers health, I will not be able to confirm anything until about 2 weeks prior, but as long as all is well I will confirm the class and make the ride. Should be a great time of the year for a 2800 mile experience journey.
