In May 20011 fifteen Dneper MB650 sidecars (WW2 BMW R71 copies but two wheel drive) will leave Kiev, Ukraine for an 8,000km trip through Russia, Georgia, Turkey, the Balkans, Italy, Switzerland, France and Belgium. The bikes are being fully rebuilt for the entrants. Some slots are still left (there are Australians, Americans, New Zealanders already coming along). You can ship your bikes home or sell them at the finish. For details contact Lang at lang -at- st - dot -net - dot - au

We have now got more of an idea. We went to Ukraine last month and had a 2,000km trip around on MB650 sidecars - right down along the Carpathian Mountains on the Romanian border. Bikes were just great.

We have changed the route to make it more interesting and now going Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey, Syria, Jordon and finishing in Israel. Bikes will be shipped home from Haifa. Still some places left.
