More than a rumor... The Skunks Rally is back!
After a two year hiatus the 2017 "Skunks 'n da Woods" will be back at the Pioneer Museum in Cameron, WI, July 14-16, 2017.

This rally is so laid back that you might want to see of the participants are still breathing. Rustic camping on the museum grounds with modern bathroom and shower.

Is entry payable at the gate, or is advanced payment preferred?
I hope to attend with a rig. However, I currently have a gl1200 with a cali I (currently listed in 'rigs for sale' ). If it sells before the rally, I'll be there on two wheels.
I am currently considering a couple of possible replacements for the Wing. One of which is a Velorex 562 for my '81 CB650C.
I have found I still like two wheels for long trips. But, enjoy a sidecar rig more in town.

SKUNKS is so laid back that advance payment is pretty much impossible. Sometime during the rally Kevin will catch up with you. Cash is appreciated a check will work and credit cards are not part of the scheme. In the past, many folks have brought door prizes, mostly little things that they bought and never used like that LED cap bill thingy that looked like a good idea in the store but turned out to make you look like a space cadet so your kids made fun of you and you never use it or ... well, you'll think of something. Think of this more like a cross between a family camp out and a reunion, only with folks who are interested in the same things you are instead of relatives you didn't choose and don't really like.
It was about time this rally came back for...all of us! I schedule to be there (on Saturday) barring very bad weather!!

So good to hear from you! I'm glad you're back from Italy. I'll see you Cameron if not before.
I still would like to be there, but, again, I won't be on a rig. I deliver my rig to the new owner tomorrow. So, two wheels to a side car rally. Again.
