NE W.A. Ben's Poker run and Pig roast.
This is a fun party that happens each year 1/2 mile South of Malo W.A on Highway 21 at Ben's Sleepy Hollow Ranch. Malo is located north of Republic about 1/2 way to Curlew. When you see a home whose front yard is populated with several windmills you are there.

Give Ben a call if you are interested in attending. It offers great food and mellow people. Bring your own beer.
This has always been a good old fashion low key party
Cost of poker run hand Not included in admission price ($5). No one under 21 admitted. No animals. Tickets at Gate.
One of the great things about this Pig roast is where it is located. It is an incredible base for riding during the day and eating and dancing in the evening.
It is about half way between Stevens Pass (Elevation 5375) which is on WA Highway 20, and Boulder Pass (Elevation 4640) which on a map is WA road 602 or Deer creek Boulder creek Rd. You can't camp any cheaper (free with a dinner ticket) for what you get, and you are right on the middle of some of the nicest scenic roads in the Colville National Forest.
Bring your bathing suits and cool off at the "Old Swimming Hole" across the river from Curlew or I-beach on 395.
Lots of folks are floating both rivers this time of year but it will require tubes and 2 vehicles to pull that off.

Folks regularly come from as far as Montana and British Columbia for this and it is mostly a word of mouth affair.
Reason I posted it here is I have never met a person on this board that I didn't like. (Don't get out much, LOL)
Dang it Joe. That's the same week end as the Springdale m/c rodeo and the vintage harvest at Davenport. Vintage harvest isn't a bike event but it sure is fun to attend.
