Looks like the usual bunch has pre-registered along with some new folks.

Friday's plans call for a ride to Lindsborg, KS, (sounds like shopping for the ladies) followed by a side trip to Coronado Heights. This is alleged to be the spot where Francisco Vásquez de Coronado gave up his search for the seven cities of gold and turned around to return to Mexico. Upon return to the rally site the traditional Friday evening Hot Dog Roast will take place.

Saturday's bike games will be held at a park in Council Grove and the Show & Shine will take place in the parking lot of the Apple Market in town. Following the awards and door prizes a catered dinner will be held at the rally site. During the evening popcorn and a movie will be provided.

Sunday morning looks to be biscuits & gravy for breakfast followed by a short church service provided by CMA.

Looking forward to it.

In addition to the lodging listed on the rally flier it has just been discovered that the Cottage House Hotel in Council Grove has re-opened for business. For those of you that wish to reserve a room at the Cottage House the phone number is: (620) 767-6828.

The bride and I are heading out this afternoon on our way to the rally. We will be spending a couple of days with friends north of Kansas City to view the eclipse as it passes directly over their home on Monday. We should be at the rally site sometime on Wednesday afternoon.
