For those of you coming to Wisconsin

Our local news is reminding us every night that we suffer 18,000 deer vehicle crashes per year, and that most of them occur in late May and June when yearlings are starting to wander off on their own and expectant does are looking for places to give birth. Put's a whole new meaning to the phrase " Grilled Venison"!
Our deer also tend to be bigger than their southern cousins. A 200-250 pound buck is not unusual up here. Likewise, if you see one on the side of the road, he probably has two or three buddies nearby that you don't see.
Whether you are coming to Cameron or to Duluth, let's all be careful out there.
Good reminder, Mike.
Needs to be posted every spring.
From my experience the worst times are usually from Dusk till early morning.
You guys have any Moose there? Much bigger!
