@thane-lewis Coming back to this statement, I realise that very few to none of the "passengers" share their feeling.... I have been a passenger for several years before jumping on the driver's seat a lot happen inside your head while seating "defensless" in there 😊 !

After all, a side car is, to me, about sharing and comunication.

I would like to read what the so called Monkey, dummy load, dynamic weight, co-driver etc..have to say from their point of view.

.

Arno, most Monkeys are so thrilled by the experience, it leaves them "speechless".

My wife, when she is the Monkey in my BattleWing Galactica, really enjoys it, most likely because I am respectful of her being in the sidecar, and I never fly the chair, as...she is precious cargo to me.

When she is piloting her own sidecar rig, the stuffed Orangutan in the sidecar doesn't really have much to say. Nonoise

@miles-ladue

Hi, it took me some time to learn how to read and write in this new to me forum.

So please, allow me to apologies for this unfortunate "like he says" and correct to "like she says"......

By the way, I am not too comfortable in english and I live in a spanish speaking country, I have to translate from one language to another, doable with 2, but 3....becomes dificult 🤣, need to practice a lot!!

Cheers

My junior year of high school I was taking my fifth year of German, first year of French and was working on Biblical Greek with the pastor.  Throw in the tiny amount of Spanish I had worked on years before and the thinking I was doing was....interesting!

@trespatas I appreciate the effort you go through, to try and and get through, to this bunch! No apology needed saying he when I'm a she basic_smile

From the driver and monkey perspective- I have more years of driving a rig than my husband, but he's a much better pilot than me. He drives exclusively when we are on trips. However, I'm the one who drives when we give folks a ride at the campgrounds.

I have complete trust in him because he would never intentionally put me in harm's way. Win-Win!

Yes, But.....does he feed you Stroopwaffles whilst driving along in the sidecar rig ?

Monkeys need to be fed more than just Bananas.

Oh, BTW....Stroopwaffles are back at the local Costco, so yesterday I bought a CASE of them....9 boxes of 40 Stroopwaffles per box.

Yes, I will be bringing some to the PenNy Hackers gathering in Pennsylvania next month.

Eat
