This is their early torsion bar suspension sidecar that is known to have issues. As you do not know own it, I would pass and wait until you can find a sidecar with proper suspension. If you do go ahead and buy this sidecar it also has the ball tulip type lower mounts which are known to fail and will need to be up graded to the current 5/8 inch type heim joints. We can provide the parts to do this as well as the bike specific mounting hardware. To put this sidecar on your bike will require a mount set $725, One curved strut which will allow you to get your foot onto the rear brake as a straight strut will be in the way. By using parts of your original struts and part of the curved strut it will adapt the sidecar over to our sized eye bolts for the upper mounts. A curved strut runs $135. You will also need two bosses at $65 each and two hiem joints at $40 each to convert over from the ball type lower mounts. So you are looking at, at least $1070 in hardware to put this on your bike. Our Kenna new with all of the mounts for your bike is only $3695. Our M72C is our most popular sidecar for your bike at $4995 both of these come with all of the hardware for your bike and both come with a proper swing arm suspension with a proper shock. Both of these sidecars also offer a brake, brakes are a good thing. The sidecar you are looking at was never offered with a brake.

That's why I ask the pros.....If it was going on a small bike I would buy it . Thanks for your help Jay, I am trying to get the wife a nice set up . She tore a tendon in the back of her right hand and doesn't have much grip so I am trying to convince her to go the "car-side"

I would go with a sidecar that is also easier to get in and out of due to her hand injury. This sidecar is no fun to get in and out of. A later version of this sidecar called the friendship 2 opens to make it easier to get in and out of, There are many other sidecars out there as well. Feel free to contact me before you buy.
