Which Side Car? Please?
Thank You! Everyone for your help. Looking forward to the experience. You're the greatest! John
Hi, Just wanted to share my thoughts. I agree on a couple of previous coments. Weight is an isue and should be thought about and you need to think about what you are really going to do with the bike. Are you going to make it permanent or do you want to take the sidecar off occasionaly. If so then maybe the HD would be a good choice. The bike is a good Tug and will handle well without fork modification however front end modification will make handling better at a cost of not being good for solo. I set my sidecar up with 11" of sidecar wheel lead and it handled great with no steering dampner. The harley sidecar wont give you that option. I then added a leading link and its even better. My sidecar wont be comeing off except for service.
If you dont have expierience then you may want to try one first before you buy. I think sidecars are great fun but they are not for every one
A pic of mine not complete for another three weeks but you get the idea.
I will have to cut a hole in my pannier for the back upper strut but it makes the rig stronger.
Liberty make a lovley sidecar and worth checking out
