Where's the Party?
Just posted a copy of a Smithsonian Magazine ad from the April 08 issue on "Albums". A rather unique use of a hack!

not at all unique, i'd say that's what they are supposed for.
I carried more then once up to 150kg tools and spares with me.
And I remember once in Germany one Nimbus-rig with 3 50l barrels and 10 bikes behind it with each one a 50l barrel on the passengers seat.
I was one of them. 4 month later I got the MZ-rig.
The normal party charge: 2 boxes Guinness, 4 boxes Flensburger and in between a dozend bottles of wine for the ladies.
In that aspect the MZ sidecar is much more usefull then the Velorex, and it lasted more abuse too. The only very necesary modification was a nylon patch in the right nose's corner for to avoid gripping the ground in a sharp lefty.
Have a pint on it.
