When a hillbilly goes to town
Went to a gun show to help a close elderly friend set up and do his thing. While there bought a nice percussion rifle. Got Chuck all squared away and headed home. Had time so stopped at the cycle shop. Bought a new V7. I had no intention to that, it just happened.
Have an old but nice, think it's a California? Sidecar sitting in the garage begging for a ride. Had been looking for an airhead to attach it to. I've read a lot about hacks and owned a couple. Thinking this will work out well for my needs.
Anyone used a V7 ? How did it work out?
Stopped at burger King on the way home and bought a burger. Went straight home after that........didn't want to take any chances.
Joe.
Joe,
I don't have a V7 but I helped a good friend, Sheldon Aubut, mount a sidecar to a V7 Stone. It went really pretty easily. We used the mounts made by DMC sidecars out of Emenclaw [sp?], WA. Call Jay there and ask about his mount kit. It worked a treat for us. Everything fit fine with the exception of the upper rear mount. We just had to hog out a hole a bit to make it fit, probably corrected by now. Good Luck!
