I bought this sidecar at the vintage races at Barber a few weeks back.
it has the Yamaha tape stripes and hookup for just about any tube frame bike, but the body is unlike any I've seen. Can anyone help??
I plan to put it on a Spectre 1100 in the short term and a Yamaha 650 for the wife long term.

I don't know what it is but I have seen a couple of these slipper sidecars around. Used to be one up in Seattle...
I think it actually started life as a sled pulled behind a snowmobile. I've seen a number of them over the years. We had one for a while that I was going to convert but my passengers wanted more of a body around them so I ended up giving it away.
I don't think I ever saw one. Can you post a picture of the chassis and suspension?
Well I have no clue what it is either, but I sure think it is slick lookin'! That is going to be hot!! Are you having it painted to match the bike, or the other way around, or is your bike already yellow? There's certainly NO WAY anyone can miss you on the road with that!

Never seen it before BUT! the paint scheme looks ALOT like the early Yamaha RD350 and 400 2smoke Kenny Roberts replica road bikes....so my guess is it was made as a light weight RD hack for competition?
i'll getsome more pis this w/e of the whole rig. my 12 y/o daughter is excited about riding in it.
