Took the dog to the dog park after helping family move. Was turning into the parking lot and THUMP, but with a more metallic crashing sound. Dogs fine, bike is fine, aside from the heavily worn side of the lean out that made riding it home feel like I was flying the chair the whole way. Was able to have my dad bring my truck over to load up the tub after disconnecting it. Probably the first time I've ridden without a third wheel in the last 2 years.

I have been to six interviews this week and the current sticking point has repeatedly been "Oh well you're so far into your previous career that we're worried you would leave to go back to it if you got the call." And always after we have just gone over how the bay area's construction industry has tanked and our next contracts aren't for something like 2 years out from now.
