As it would happen, I've come to own what I believe is a 60's era Watsonian Palma Classic. I picked it up because I had never seen a 2 seat sidecar. It is in sound condition but needs a lot of TLC. The fiberglass is good but could probably use a new wood floor. The windscreen is intact but spalled and the roof covering is only for pattern purposes at this point. Other than that, there is no impact damage and the original lights, wheel and hubcap are all intact. I am considering selling it but have no idea where to start with a value. I picked it up as a project but have apparently went over the amount of stand-by projects my wife will tolerate. LOL. Anyway, any info would be greatly appreciated. I could forward pics if necessary and if anyone near NE Ohio is interested, just drop me a line.

Thanks,

I have a 1977 Monaco, single seat version of the Palma. Paid $1000 9 years ago and then put in about $1000 in replacement parts from Watsonian.. From what you say, I would think maybe $800 asking price. What do other Watsonian owners think ? Also you can buy parts from Watsonian but shipping is expensive as they all come by air. I had the top and seat recovered locally, would be cheaper.

Thanks for the quick response Doug. I am at a total loss on this. A couple others have responded too and I sent out a few pics. I really appreciate everyone's help.

The NE Ohio. Conneaut. As far North and as far east as it gets without going in to Pennsylvania or getting wet.

Yup, that is as far NE as you can get! I'm down by Warren.

Could you email photos? sidecarsarge@yahoo.com

i have a couple of sidecar books listing the different Watsonian models and specs. i am in Berlin Center, Oh. about an hour south of you. you are welcome to come down and take a look. you might try calling Doug Bingham, Mr. Sidecar , he is part owner of Watsonian and the US distributor. he knows more about Watsonian than anyone else in the US. 818-780-1587
