I currently have a 98 Harley FLHT with a 08 TLE. My dog (Fred, a 60# lab) shares his sidecar with my wife. My wife is feeling a little cramped for space as Fred rides in front of her, facing to the rear and between her legs. My wife wants to sell our rig and get a wider sidecar so she and Fred can sit side by side and she can stretch her legs out.
We've pretty much decided on the Hannigan Classic Twin, however, we would like to see one before we make the final decision. Does anyone have a Hannigan Classic Twin (or just a Hannigan Classic) in the Houston area that we can have look at?
What other options are available in sidecars with side by side seating.

Terry, we have a Hannigan 2+2, and are in Comfort, Tx, about 45 miles northwest of San Antonio. If you get over here to do some riding in the Hill country, give us a call at (830) 992-1385, we will be glad to show you the rig, and maybe do some riding with yall. We are planning to be at the East Texas Sidecar Muster in Brookland, Tx. May 4-6. Last year there were a few Hannigans attending. You can look at the pictures and read the specs on Hannigan's web site. Good luck with your search.
J.R. - The Magnolia Biker Park is only 6 or 7 miles from me. I've never been there because they don't allow pets. However, Crockett is only about 2 hours from here. We could ride up there sometime or maybe we could meet in Huntsville for breakfast or lunch some Saturday or Sunday when you get back from Fl. Let me know what works for you. What model Hannigan do you have?

Hi Terry: Yep, a single-wide chair is a little cramped for both wife and lab. The Hannigan Classic Twin has about the same 30 inches of hip room as our former EML GT2001, which was sufficiently wide for Jena & Maddie to ride comfortably (see pic below -- I have a pic of me and 7-yr-old nephew, but can't find it)..
As Lloyd mentioned, there should be a good sampling of sidecars at the East Texas Sidecar Muster, but I'm not yet aware of a Classic Twin. Good luck with your search.

I was not able to make the East Texas Sidecar Muster due to prior commitments with the Texas Honor Ride and our Annual THR Fun Run on May 5th. I would still like to see a Hannigan Classic or Classic Twin. I want to check out the opening to make sure my riding buddy, Fred, is able to jump in after his recent ACL surgery. If nobody in SE Texas has a Classic or Classic Twin I hope to be able to see one at the Hannigan factory in late June when I will be driving to Michigan.
