Well! Velorex (the manufacturer,,,not the importer) has re thought their massive price increase. There is still an increase but of $300 over what the prices were before. So a 562 is now $3,299 or as i'd say $3300. Just so you know.

When my 6 y.o. son was 5-1/2, he figured out that '$19.99' was $20. Why retailers continue to assume their customers are idiots is absolutely beyond me.
With 19.5k line items of inventory at the company I work for, I wrote a costing algorithm that automatically rounds price from cost and markup percentage, (took about 10 lines of code), just so as I don't irritate customers, and eliminate having to horse with 1 cent pieces at the till.
Nothing against Velorex (or Warkshop), just a general peeve! 🙂

Hey, Velorex says $3,299,,,,,,on my website you'll find $3300,,,,i do not play the '99' or 95 game,,i be a poor marketeer i suppose,,,but as you know it is very common. Mainly because people like to fool themselves, "it's only 3200",,,,no actually it is 3300!
The new bank rules are even worse then the famous "price marketing strategy". This week my local Euro bank account has been frozen because I moved more of my own money in between my personal accounts then I announced I would move (in a secondary new account not the others). Now that I moved 10.000Euro from one account to the other for to pay my son's flight lessons and daughter's University made me a "suspicious person of money laundering" that deserves to get all his accounts frozen until ....some bank supervisor institute will free it .....???? If I would have moved 9999,-US$ this anti narcotic rule would not have been applied...

Back to rigs. We all should beware that with the political trouble time that is coming up prices for everything will explode again. Who pays the final bill is as usual the small guy.
Costa Rica had an exchange rate stable for over 3 1/2 years of 500,-Colones, Since mid-January it jumped to 560,-Colones.
Read the signs and be aware of what will come.
