I have only had mine a couple of weeks. It's still in break-in, and I get about 25 to 30 MPG. And I must admit for part of that time, my air filter was partially clogged due to dusty roads where I live. It got so bad that the engine started to choke out and I had to clean the filter.

Ihave 15,700km on my '05 Tourist, it averages around 8.5l/100km to 10l/100km (33mpg IMP/27mpg US - 28mpg IMP/23mpg US). This is due to having a large windshield, a change to larger jets and a less restrictive air filter. Oh, and I'm a "circumferentially enhanced" rider, which doesn't help fuel economy very much. But gas mileage is NOT one of the prime reasons to buy an Ural anyway.

As we grow older we all get somewhat "circumferentially enhance" though some more than others......

I have a 2006 Patrol with just under 3000 miles in 3 months (so fun!) I get pretty much 25mpg, doing a combo of on and off road riding. Hope that helps!

Deadstock 2004 Ural Retro rig. Odometer actually reads 5% LOW, so I am getting more miles per gallon than computed. Ready for this? 43-45 mpg consistently.

Alright! I just gotta know how you guys are getting this mileage? Anything special you are doing/adding? Or maybe I'm just still in the breaking in stage? Too much off-road riding? Desert heat evaporating my gas? ;-P

I have no idea why Boris is doing so well. I didn't believe the numbers until I had the odometer checked and found it was showing less miles than actual. At present, I have approx 21,000 kilometers (13,000 miles) on the rig since April 2004. In fact, right now it is in dire need of a tune-up yet it still consistantly gets over 40 mpg.
