It depends on the weather, road condition, traffic, how much you ride (your butt)ect.! I have done 500 to 600 and felt good and less then 300 and felt like #$@#$%&!! Enjoy the trip stop and rest when you get tired see the country drink plenty if it's hot (water not beer) and stop for the day when you still feel good. There is always tomorrow.

I would rather spend a bad day on a bike then a good one at work.

I,ve run over 1000 miles only stopping for gas in the '50s and felt miserable for a few days afterwards.
These days I run daylight hours to enjoy what's around me. Stopping often to take pictures or just for no reason except to enjoy the vista. I don't camp anymore so stopping during daylight hours gives me a time to check out where I will stay, eat, and maybe have a cold one after the days ride. I don't preplan all my Inns, Motels, etc. either . That way if there is another road to try or something of interest suggested by one of the locals, I can meander that way without being on a tight schedule due to reservation limitations.
I find 400 to 450 miles a day a comfortable pace these days. Not just superslab but including the backroads.

Thanks Lonnie. Sounds like a plan. Been doing a lot of local riding but this will be the first long haul. I'm use to 600 mile days riding solo. Just thinking of the fatuge factor with the sidecar. I'm thinking your estimates are pretty accurate. Thanks again!

If you're not familiar with I-95 around the D.C. area, I hope that you've got your nerve up. My dad (professional trucker driver) loved my husband; and the only time that I ever heard Daddy say anything bad about him was when he learned that my husband had taken me (I was driving my rig) on I-95 around D.C.

Otherwise, I like Lonnie's thinking about making a trip! Hope the trip is great!
