The package from Motorvation engineering with my mounting hardware came today. I was just wiring the tail light back on, and reassembling after the paint job, when the parts showed up. Now the confusing work starts.

At 6.30 tonight I finished the aligning of my rig. I still have wiring interior work, and the sidecar break to install. But I took it for a test ride. I have been on 2 wheels for 35 years, never road a rig before. Got a grin so big that my face hurts. Scared at the same time. Only went bout 2 miles of the back streets. Kept putting my foot down at every stop.

Mike , congrats on the first ride.

I know what you mean about the big grin and scared at the same time feeling.

Like you, I've been two wheeling for 30 years and took my first ride on my new rig yesterday. Picked it up and drove it home. First ride - 240 miles in 1 degree temperatures,(just above freezing - Celsus),and wet snow. Loved it, except for the snow and freezing temperature part.

And just so you don't think I'm totally crazy, I did take a two day sidecar training course a month ago, so did have a little seat time before hand. Wouldn't have made it / attempted it otherwise.

Anyway, enjoy. We can share "newbie" stories as we make our little mistakes during our learning curve.

35 miles of back country roads today after checking the bolts.

So far so good. Feels like Mr Toads wild ride.
