Not about sidecars but wondered if anyone on the list did a test ride on one of those Can-Am Spyders, looked at them in Johnstown and would love to blast down the rode on those three wheels, Doc.

I saw a discussion about them over on the high performance sidecar forum. Apparently there is computerized governor built in that prevents the operator from getting into trouble. Blasting may not be an option.

I had a chance to see one at the San Antonio Motorcycle show. It was pretty, but I think I like the MP3 from Piaggio even better. Look up its' video on youtube. 3 wheels, but the 2 in front are closer together... keeps the feel of 'bike' while giving you a bit more stability.

I took a ride on a can-am a week ago. A guy that lives locally has one. Its sporty and cool looking but i didn't find it exactly exciting. It was alot like riding a 2 wheeler but with a real wide front. Not exactly speedy either. I guess in all practicality i think i would opt for a convertable car b4 dropin the buck for the CAN AM. Just cause i could take stuff or a extra person in a cage. On the other hand I let him ride/drive my rig...he had a huge smile afterwards and said to me" I thought my bike turned heads but people were waving at me and giving me the thumbs up...I might have to get one of these!!" Well thats my .02 anyways....ED.
