Is this thing snake oil or does it really work as advertised?

If it works, one could easily be made up for my Ural and then I could really fly the chair!

Snake Oil. These have been sold to Harley owners for years. I know of a couple of folks who installed them, and figured that it couldn't hurt anything. They eventually removed them from the bikes.

Polishing the intake manifold, or getting a better one is money and time better spent.

My dad used to call these things Uga Buga's. He'd say "If you dance around your bike three times singing UGA BUGA, UGA BUGA, UGA BUGA you'll accomplish the same thing without spending the money".
