This year we have counted 1.600 participants from all over Europe.

Wow! That is amazing! Where in Germany? Can anyone attend?
I will be going to Germany next year, either the first 3 weeks or last 3 weeks of August, now it may be the last 3 weeks. We will be in the Chemnitz area. Where is this event? I hope to do some riding with my wifes cousin when we are there. Not sure if I want to ship one of my bikes over or rent one there.

the 2010 European Sidecar Rally will take place in Hatzfeld-Reddighausen in the north of the German state "HESSEN from 27.-29.08.2010.
This is appr. 141 km (epuals 87 miles) eastern from Cologne. Everybody can attend.

The one with the speedway engine... I'd love to get one for my Jawa.
And the 500ccm doubled engine. I heard frequently of them and always thought they would be a fairy tale.
Doesn't seem so... somebody had a lot of free time and machine time to make up a new engine housing.
At least in winter he will not have to put the stove below the engine to start it.
Mine came on on the 3 kick even at -28ºC.
