I want to publicly thank Elmer Sveda. I had the alternater on my Goldwing fail and leave me stranded about 2-3 miles from Elmer Sveda's house, it turned out to be the best place in the world, to have it fail. Elmer offered me a place to put up the tent, fans to try to stay cool, rides to town for what ever we needed, and a ride to Hot Springs, for a new alternater, even vouching for my personal check at the Honda dealer. To top it all off, there was the great conversation with Elmer and his wife. All of you who have met Elmer, or been to his rally at his home, know what I am talking about. The major trip ending problem turned into a great experience, and we were able to continue with our trip. Again thank you very much Elmer.

In the Bundeswehr (West-German Army) the Priest said. "Here you will meet people of which you never could imagine that SOMETHING like them would exist!"
But luckily there are quite a few persons in this world like you describe Elmer, Who are "SOMEBODY SPECIAL", who are unique and weight out by fare with their "Bondad", "Wohlwollen" all others who are not so kind.
Today I gave a small present as thank you to one couple like you describe Elmer.
Lola and Jan Larsson the parents of 2 localy famous Enduro and Motocross/Auto-Rally riders are just as good persons as you describe.
God bless all the good guys and may protect them.
They are the needed Angels who help us out when we are somewhere out there on 3 or 2 wheels.

Myself I have recieved help like this inunlikely moments and have had the oportunities to be able to provide it myself too.
The good deeds weight out all harsh experiences.
All the best friends I met on my journeys. and that are friendships that last for life.

Chears
Sven
