Steve,Β  That's the English version of the Flyin' Tomato...

Currently, in the pictures of your bike, that Left side passenger floorboard is at it's highest position. It can be lowered, probably about 2.5" to 3", which can make a big difference for you using it. There is just a lever..somewhere..for you to push or pull, and it can be adjusted. My last GL-1500 SE was 24 years ago, so...I forget, because I am olde.

the lever for the rear boards is under the passenger cubby pocket under the rear speaker, you slide it out to release the locks for the boards, or is that slide it towards the seat, hm I forget that part.

Question, are there any good seats that are a bit narrower/lower at the front? Right old farts nap done time to move handlebars =)
