I've just picked up a Steib 500. It's got an Ideal windshield that for the life of me, I can't figure how to attach. Also, the windshiled seems incredibly thin and I'd something thicker and better. So, any help to offer?

As I recall, it hinges so it will swing forward/out of the way. The front of the skirt snaps in place. Yahoo has a group for Steib owners specifically.
